The 7 Rivers FSC Learn to Skate Program is designed for brand new skaters, ages 4 and up! The focus of the lessons to learn the basics! Learn to Skate USA Basic Levels 1 and 2 skills are covered in the lessons.
At the end of each session, coaches will test the skaters. Each skater will receive a copy of their testing sheet, showing which skills they've passed and which need more work! Skaters can sign-up for multiple sessions of Learn to Skate. Skaters that pass Learn to Skate will be able to continue to 7 Rivers FSC Basic Skills Lessons.
Our Learn to Skate skaters get to participate in the 7 Rivers FSC Winter Showcase and annual Spring Ice Show.
All Learn to Skate skaters need to have a Learn to Skate Annual Membership, details are on our Club Membership page.
Skaters that have passed the 7 Rivers Learn to Skate Program are able to participate in Basic Skills Group Lessons. In the lessons, Learn to Skate USA Basic Skills Levels 3 through 6 are covered.
Skaters are tested mid-session and at the end of sessions, each skater will receive a copy of their testing sheet. Skaters will be adjusted to skate in their appropriate level as needed.
Basic Skills skaters are able to participate in the 7 Rivers FSC Winter Showcase and annual Spring Ice Show.
All Basic Skills skaters need to have a Basic Skills Annual Membership details are on our Club Membership page.
Skaters that have passed Learn to Skate USA Basic Skills Level 6 can advance to our 7 Rivers Aspire Program. Skaters can continue in the Aspire program through the Preliminary Singles test.
At this level of skating, all testing is done at a US Figure Skating sanctioned testing event.
In addition to Aspire Group lessons, Aspire Skaters are eligible to participate in other group lessons, such as Power and Edges.
All Aspire Skaters must have an Aspire Annual Membership. Details are on our Club Membership page.
Freestyle Lessons
Skaters that are preparing to test Pre-Bronze level and have passed out of Aspire, advance to our Freestyle level. At this level of skating, skaters can participate in a variety of group lessons.
At this level of skating, all testing is done at a US Figure Skating sanctioned testing event.
All Freestyle Skaters must have a US Figure Skating Freestyle membership. Details are on our Club Membership page.
Upcoming Sessions
7 Rivers FSC's Fall Session will begin in September but only offers Private Ice for members. The Winter Session will begin the second week of October (dates are flexible depending on ice availability) and run until mid-February, with a short Holiday Break.
